The Welsh Club of the Milwaukee Area was established in 1952 to 1) keep alive the heritage, traditions and characteristics of the Welsh people, 2) promote interest in civic affairs and community welfare, and 3) maintain bonds with people of North America of Welsh heritage or interest.  Membership is open to anyone of Welsh heritage or those interested in Welsh traditions.  Regular meetings are usually held on the first Saturday of October, December, February, April, and June.  The club also sponsors its St. David's Day dinner on the weekend closest to St. David's Day (March 1), and participates in cultural activities in the greater Milwaukee area such as the Wisconsin Highland Games in September and Holiday Folk Fair International in November.

Refer to the News and Calendar links above for information about current club activities.  Note the various cymanfaoedd canu (Welsh hymn services) scheduled throughout the summer and fall, as well as information about Welsh Heritage Week, Cwrs Cymraeg, and the North American Festival of Wales held during the summer.  Join us as we celebrate Welsh culture!
